FAQ

Common questions

How do you find a debtor who moved?

SkipTrace AI returns the person's address history in order, flags the current address and maps the trail, along with mobile numbers and emails ranked by confidence. A reverse address search on the old address can also surface where they went.

What does a search cost?

1 credit is $1.00, or as low as $0.85 in larger packs. A contact search is 4 credits and a full report 5. If a search returns no useful data, you aren't charged.

Can I skip trace a whole placement file?

Yes. Upload a CSV and SkipTrace AI processes every row. Credits are reserved when the batch starts and anything it doesn't use is refunded automatically.

Is SkipTrace AI compliant with the FDCPA?

SkipTrace AI provides location data; how you contact consumers is governed by the FDCPA, Regulation F, TCPA and state law. SkipTrace AI is not a consumer reporting agency and must not be used for FCRA-covered decisions.

Do I need a subscription?

No. Buy credits when you need them; there are no monthly fees.
